Forte Insurance and FTB Launch Bancassurance Partnership
Phnom Penh, October 31, 2025: Forte Insurance (Cambodia) Plc. and the Foreign Trade Bank of Cambodia (FTB) have officially announced a Bancassurance Partnership to offer general insurance service to our customers and the public through FTB’s branch network.

This milestone collaboration brings together the combined strengths, experience, and trust of both leading institutions; customers and the public will benefit from a wide range of general insurance services—including coverage for transportation, property, and more—offer by Forte Insurance (Cambodia), the nation’s largest and oldest domestic insurer.
The official launch ceremony of the Bancassurance Partnership was presided over by Mr. Dith Sochal, CEO of FTB; Mr. Mean Channarith, CBO of FTB; Mr. Youk Chamroeunrith, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Forte Insurance; and Mr. Suy Channtharong, CEO of Forte Insurance. Senior executives, valued partners, and customers from both organizations attended the event, serving as witnesses and further promoting general insurance.

Mr. Suy Channtharong, Chief Executive Officer of Forte Insurance (Cambodia) Plc., stated, “Forte, the nation’s largest and oldest domestic insurance company, has been present in the Cambodian market since 1999 and continues to lead with over 26 years of experience. Our focus has always been on providing diverse insurance solutions—from micro and agricultural coverage to travel, accident, health, construction, property, and motor insurance. We believe this partnership will offer customers of both institutions greater convenience, comprehensive protection, and enduring trust and stability.”

He further added, “On September 22, 2025, Forte was reaffirmed with AA+(KH) (National Scale) and B+ (International Scale) credit ratings for financial strength and stability by GCR Ratings, a subsidiary of Moody’s. This recognition underscores our resilience and credibility. We are proud to collaborate with FTB, Cambodia’s first domestic commercial bank, trusted by customers since 1979. Our partnership reflects a shared mission to strengthen the nation’s financial foundation by supporting customers, entrepreneurs, and traders through reliable, accessible, and essential financial services.”
Mr. DITH Sochal, Chief Executive Officer of FTB, mentioned that “The signing of the bancassurance partnership with Forte Insurance marks a significant step in expanding FTB’s service offering. This collaboration enables FTB to integrate general insurance services into our banking ecosystem; we are better positioned to meet our customers’ growing demand for comprehensive financial solutions. This collaboration also enables customers to conveniently pay for general insurance through FTB’s nationwide branch network.
